This month, Windsor & Maidenhead Conservation Volunteers and Wild Maidenhead held its annual ‘cut and rake’ of Bray Quarry.
Wild Maidenhead has been set up to help look after the wild things and wild places in the town of Maidenhead and the surrounding villages and to reverse biodiversity declines in habitats and species.
Following a breakdown of the organisation’s power scythe, we stepped in to provide the machines to enable the volunteers to prepare the ground for next year.
